I get the following error while try to access the google chrome:
C://Program Files (x86)//Google//Chrome//Application//chrome.exe
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.Please seet the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.
This error is common for windows 7,windows 8,windows 8.1,windows 10 also.This error is occurred in following programs like that gta 4,autocad,chrome,gta iv,avast,ableton,crystal reports,c,msvcr100.dll,dxgi.dll.
Solution:
1.Go to uninstall the previous version of software and then install it latest version.
