Screen sharing on Roku is easy and can help you enjoy your favorite content on the bigger screen. However, sometimes it screen mirroring doesn’t work on Windows based operating system. I am using Windows 10 and Roku screen mirroring was not working until I found its solution. I am sharing you some tips and tricks which you can try out step-by-step and fix the problem.

Here are some of the steps which I am explained in the video tutorial:

1. Restart your PC – By restarting your computer, you can stop all those programs which maybe causing Windows 10 screen mirroring couldn’t connect. Doing so may solve the problem. If it doesn’t, move to the next step.
2. Reset Router Or Modem – Refresh your router or modem setting by resetting them. Roku casting not working on Windows 10 maybe because of Wi-Fi connectivity. Resetting your router will refresh the Wi-Fi and give you a smooth connectivity.
3. Use Private Network – Most of the users set their network to “Public” because of which Windows Firewall block the screen mirroring on Roku TV. If you turn network to “Private”, this problem will be fixed.
4. Close all background processes from Task Manager – Many unwanted programs run in the background of computer which stop other processes. Check out all the background process in the Task Manager and end task them one by one.
5. Run Malware Scan – Malware can not only stop screen mirroring but also affect other programs on your system. Internet users sometimes get malware and spyware online. You can run malware scan to remove them from your PC. It’ll also help in screen sharing.
6. Disable Anti-virus program from PC – For a time being, you can disable anti-virus program and then try to screen mirror. This is just to see whether the problem is happening because of anti-virus program.
7. Disable Windows Defender Firewall – Sometimes, in-built firewall may block the processes which are useful for screen mirroring. Though it is not recommended, you can disable Windows Defender Firewall once and see whether is causing the issue. In case it doesn’t, turn it on.
8. Update device drivers – Ensure to update the Wireless Network driver and graphic driver. Also, update the network adapter driver. Miracast screen sharing requires connection with framework. Updating your drivers will help in the seamless connection.

Roku Screen mirroring Windows 10 will definitely work by following the steps given in this video. But, ensure to follow all the steps and restart your PC. This trick is also helpful if Windows 11 Roku Screen Mirroring not working.
