Fix Nvlddmkm.sys Issue with NVIDIA GPU Driver 2024 (Updated Methods) RTX 3000 & 4000 Series

Today, I will demonstrate how to address the NVLDDMKM.SYS issue on Windows.

Ensure that you uninstall your current driver using DDU and install a fresh one before proceeding. This method personally assisted me, although I’ve come across various other methods.

TDR REG Location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//SYSTEM//CurrentControlSet//Control//GraphicsDrivers

Create new DWORD 32bit: TdrDelay
Value: 6

Software Used:
– NVIDIA Control Panel (comes with NVIDIA driver)

Download:
– DDU https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driver-uninstaller-DDU-
– LatencyMon https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
– MSI_util_v3.exe https://workupload.com/file/3hdShxRGWhg

Steps not mentioned in the video (might also be helfpull for some folks)
1. Dual/Triple Monitor Setup: Ensure that all your monitors are operating at the same frequency.
2. If you are encountering GPU artifacts during the nvlddmkm error, it would be advisable to consider initiating an RMA for your GPU, as your memory may be damaged.
