Fix Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Error DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG (0x887A0006) A Problem Has Occurred With Your Display Driver On PC
Step 1) If able to launch the launcher, disable DLSS Ray Reconstruction
Step 2) Disable frame generation
Step 3) Turn off ray tracing
Step 4) Set raytracing to high, DLSS ray reconstruction to off, frame generation off and start in exclusive picture mode
Step 5) Disable HDR in the launcher
Step 6) Disable DLSS completely
Step 7) Switch anti-aliasing to TAA
Step 8) If using DLSS Swapper then through DLSS Swapper try swapping DLSS to 310.1
Step 9) Perform a clean installation of graphics driver. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Step 10) Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 11) Nvidia users roll back graphics driver to version 566.36, you can even try different versions
Step 12) AMD Users install optional driver 25.1.1
Step 13) Close MSI Afterburner, rivatuner, close all the overclocking applications
Step 14) Allow the game exe file to your antivirus program/Windows Security and Firewall
Step 15) Run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder, try running the game in compatibility mode.
Step 16) Verify the game files.
Step 17) Update Windows to the latest version

Step 19) Unplug External devices such as hotas, wheel, pedals, mouse, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors, turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, close third-party services such as nahimic services/lightingservice.exe etc. in task manager, disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay), remove the undervolt, rename/delete save game files (the game progress will be lost)
Step 20) Set the paging file value in the system to “automatic”
Step 21) Increase the Virtual Memory
View Advanced system settings.
Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 22) Try Debug mode in Nvidia Control Panel
Step 23) Update BIOS
Step 24) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
