Method 1. Restart Discord

Try the classic fix we all love—/”restart Discord/”. It’s as basic as turning it off and on again. Trust me, it’s like the digital equivalent of a reset button for your brain.

Sometimes that’s all you need. If not, don’t throw your Mac out the window yet. We’ve got more tricks!

Method 2. Check Screen Recording Permissions

Macs love their privacy, but sometimes they overdo it. You’ve got to tell your Mac it’s okay for Discord to peek at your screen.

Step 1. Go to System Preferences, and click Security & Privacy, then the Privacy tab.

Step 2. Scroll down to /”Screen Recording/” and make sure Discord is checked.

Method 3. Update Discord
