This tutorial is to fix error bootrec /fixboot access is denied while repairing operating system in windows 10 windows 8 and in windows 7.
Process has two different parts. first part works for UEFI users having GPT drive and second part works for BIOS MBR users
Method 1 :
For UEFI Users having gpt drive, following are the commands to use and hit enter after each command
1) diskpart
2) list disk
3) select disk 0
4) list volume
5) select volume 2 (where volume 2 is, where operating system is installed)
6) Assign letter=V:
7) md //efi//microsoft//boot// and hit Enter.
8) cd /d V://efi//microsoft//boot// and hit Enter.
Now your problem is resolved. you can now enter bootrec /fixboot without any error
Method 2 :
For MBR users
bootsect /nt60 sys
bootrec /fixboot
