This exact method solved all of my audio issues within Windows 11.
I had zero audio issues while using Windows 10, but as soon as I upgraded to Win11 all I had was audio problems, especially with recording and audio playback. This process has allowed my DAW and UAD console to work flawlessly with Windows 11. It has also eliminated any issues associated with audio play back (regardless of the source) and fixed all recording issues.
Step 1) Access /”Performance Settings/” inside /”Advanced System Settings/”.
-Change /”VISUAL EFFECT/” setting to /”ADJUST FOR BEST PERFORMANCE/”.
-Click the /”Advanced/” tab and change the /”PROCESSOR SCHEDULING/” setting to /”BACKGROUND SERVICES/”.
-Save
Step 2) Access /”DETAILS/” inside /”Task Manager/” and find the process /”AUDIODG.EXE/”.
-Right click and /”Set Priority/” setting to /”High/”
-Click /”Set Affinity/
