In this video I show you how to use the free software Seatools from Seagate to repair bad sectors on a hard disk drive (HDD). The process takes a long time, so I recommend using Seatools for Windows first to diagnose the problem. Then if Seatools for Windows can’t fix your fault, make a boot disk and run Seatools for DOS instead. I used this approach recently to perfectly repair two broken HDDs of my own with no data loss.
