In this Excel tutorial, we are learning how to use SORT function to perform multi-level or multi-column sorting dynamically using Excel formula.
Before SORT function, we only had SORT tool in Excel that involved several steps to make multi-level sorting on multiple columns. And still the results were not dynamic as we had to apply sort tool on the original data set.
With SORT function, we can now get sorted data dynamically without disturbing the original data source and get multiple level sorting done in seconds.
By using Excel tables with SORT formula, we get dynamic output i.e. every time the data source changes, the output updates automatically and instantly!
