Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Fast copy formula to the bottom of your data.

Welcome to MrExcel, where I share my favorite Excel tips and tricks to help you excel at everything you do. In this #shorts video, I’ll be showing you my all-time favorite Excel tip – the double click fill handle.

We’ve all been there – you have a formula that needs to be copied down to the bottom of your data, but there are gaps in your data. The usual method of using the control down arrow doesn’t work in this situation. But fear not, because I have an awesome trick for you.

Simply select the formula, double click on the fill handle, and watch as Excel works its magic. It will scan all the columns to the left and find its way to the bottom, even if it has to make a diagonal hop from Adele to Mantovani, or from Usher to Liberace, and back to Beyoncé. This trick is a game-changer when it comes to copying formulas in Excel.
