In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to fix your headset or microphone if it is echoing on a Windows 10 PC.

Echoing is usually a result of having the /”Listen to this device/” checkbox checked in your Stereo Mix Properties.

In most cases, the fix is pretty simple, so we’ll start with the most common solution first.

Step 1 – On your computer, move your mouse to the bottom right corner of the screen and locate the speaker icon. Right click and choose /”Open Sound Settings/”.

Step 2 – Click on /”Sound Control Panel/” on the right side of the Sound settings window
