When i try to play DVD from the laptop, i am getting ‘Insert disc’ Window showing the message ‘Please insert a disc into drive E:, ‘Help me choose a disc’ link follows the message. Then DVD drive ejects automatically.
Solution: You might encountered the error ‘Your input can’t be opened’ in VLC media player . Also you might failed to close the VLC media player which encountered an error. This will prevent Windows auto play from playing the DVD, instead showing the error ‘Insert a disc’.
Conclusion: Are you getting the following error in VLC media player ‘Your input can’t be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL ‘dvd:///E:/’. Check the log for details. Then the Solution is ensure drive is inserted with disc.
