I recently created a new Hard Disk partition in addition to my one with my Operating System on (Windows 8) and accidentally activated it , rendering my Windows partition inactive. I knew not to reinstall Windows or l else lose all my data. Using /”Rufus/” was an only option together with a USB storage-/lash device device. I used Rufus to burn my Windows 8.iso to the usb and booted from the USB AFTER configuring it as the device to boot to in my BIOS (try f2 or f12 when system starts). Video shows everything else really… Don’t reinstall Windows unless you are fine with losing all data that has not been backed up. Don’t play play around with partitions either unless you perhaps plan a dual boot or need a backup partition on the same drive as your OS (not recommended on your HDD crashes)!
