STEPS TO FOLLOW – NO DATA LOSS :-

1. Disable Automatic Google chrome updates:-

2. download any or older version of google chrome:-

3. chrome://settings/help
& turn on /”Continue where you left off/” in /”On startup/” option from left

4. Copy /”Chrome/” folder to some safe place from this location:-
%LOCALAPPDATA%//Google

5. uninstall google chrome from control panel
6. install the downloaded, old version of google chrome & open it
7. wait for few seconds, and all you tabs and chrome data will be restored 🙂

9. If chrome data is not restored, then
a. close google chrome
b. copy /”Chrome/” folder to the same location from where you copied it.
c. now run google chrome
