Unable to install directx9 and getting the error /”Installation Complete. DirectX Setup has Determined that a Newer or Equivalent Version of Directx has been Installed Already. No installation is necessary/”. You can fix the issue easily and install Directx9 which is needed for some older games. Actually most of them doesn’t need directx 9 if you have new versions of directx. Because, Directx 12 consists all files of directx 9 along with some new files.
To install directx 9 on your computer. Search directx redix in google search. Go to Microsoft’s official website. Download it. Now create a new folder anywhere on your computer. Open the downloaded file to install. Click on browse and select your newly created folder. Proceed with the installation. Go to the newly created folder and open the setup file called dxsetup. Finish the installation!
