As you can see, the bandwidth in all cases far exceeds the capabilities of the storage devices in question. On an NVMe Gen3 drive that only supports up to 3.5 GB/s, the bandwidth with GPU decompression enabled exceeds 8 GB/s!
The demo is being run on Windows 11, which has some improvements to the storage stack over Windows 10, such as I/O Rings and BypassIO.
The latest NVIDIA GeForce driver is also being used, which supports RTX IO.
