They start by removing the lid of the server and remove any components that would hinder the installation of the RAID card. You will want to make sure you insert the back end of the card, then line up the connectors of the card to the connector on the board. Once inserted, re-install the riser card. Make sure you follow the guide on the motherboard to keep the connector on the riser itself straight.
