Method 1: Registry Editor – right click and run as administrator – go to the following key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER//Software//Microsoft//Windows//CurrentVersion//Policies//System
Double click to open System folder. If you HAVE this key called disableLockWorkstation on the right panel, please change the value to 0 or simply delete it!
If you don’t have this key, please create one. Right click on the right panel – dword 32 bit value – rename it as disableLockWorkstation and change the value to zero.
Method 2: Press Function plus to Windows key. This ONLY works in some computers.
Method 3: Press G if you are using a gaming keyboard. This ONLY works in some computers.
Method 4: If you have a gaming mode switch on top of your keyboards, please turn it off!
Method 5: If you have WinLock key on your keyboard press it!
Method 6: Go to device manager. Click on view on the top – show hidden devices – go to keyboards. right click and uninstall all keyboards listed there. Just uninstall as shown in the video here. Please don’t delete or remove if asked additionally! Uncheck the option of that if asked!
Method 7: Command prompt – right click and run as administrator. Run the following two commands
sc config hidserv start= auto
net start hidserv
The first command set the startup type of windows service /”Human Interface Device Service/” to Automatic which is required for fault free function of some keyboards.
The second command starts the above service, if not already started!
