How to Calculate Range from MAX minus MIN Function in Microsoft Excel.

In this video, I calculate range numbers from maximum minus minimum numbers. In Excel, the range I calculate from the MAX minus MIN function.

What is the Range in statistics?
Range in statistics for a given data set is the difference between the highest and lowest values. For example, if the given data set is {1,4,9,10,3}, then the range will be 10 – 1 = 9.
Thus, the range could also be defined as the difference between the highest observation and lowest observation. The obtained result is called the range of observation. Range in statistics represents the spread of observations.
Range formulas in statistics:
Range = Highest Value – Lowest Value
Or
Range = Highest observation – Lowest observation
Or
Range = Maximum value – Minimum value

Formula in Excel:
=MAX(B3:B12)-MIN(B3:B12)

What is MAX function in Excel?
The MAX function is a premade in Excel, that finds the highest numbers in a range. It is typed =MAX(). The function ignores cells with text. It will only work for cells with the numbers.
Syntax:
MAX(number1, [number2], …)
number1, number2, …: number1 is required, and subsequent numbers are optional. 1 to 255 numbers for that we want to find the maximum value.

What is MIN function in Excel?
The MIN function is a premade function in MS Excel, that finds the lowest number in a range. It is typed =MIN(). The function ignores cells with text. It will only work for cells with numbers.
Syntax:
MIN(number1, [number2], …)
number1, number2, …: number1 is optional, and subsequent numbers are optional. 1 to 255 numbers for that we want to find the minimum value.
