In this video we continue on the series of building discord with Ruby on Rails and I add some UI improvements including making the sidebar open by default, adding a user dropdown with link to account settings and a field for user avatars! This was a fun video and small improvements to add but it really is bringing us closer to our final product. Also at the end I create an IOS Native app using the Hotwire Native library which in under a minute tbh we had a working IOS app. There is still lots of improvements to be made so stay tuned as I continue on this series and please leave and thoughts or ideas for features in the comments below 🙂 Thank you
