Bass Boost & Enhancement Missing in Sound Settings {Equalizer Settings} Windows 10 & Windows 11? Fix it easily by this method.
Right click on Start Button – Device Manager – Sound, video and game controllers. Right click on Realtek Audio and Disable it. Now right click again and Update Driver. Select Browse my computer for drivers in the next window. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers in the next window. Uncheck /”Show compatible hardware/”. Select Microsoft from the left panel. Select High Definition Audio Version from the right panel. Update and Restart your computer. Now go to Sound Settings and you’ll see Enhancement tab and Bass Boost settings there as shown in the video.
Sometimes, update will fail and will show an error. Then, please update to Realtek Audio and then update to High Definition Audio version. Repeat the process two three times and the driver will be updated!
If the sound is not working after updating to High Definition Audio, please update to Realtek Audio again. Then you may need third party software for Bass Settings in your windows!
