This can easily be done using the Fill series option (which is an inbuilt functionality in Excel). while this is quick and easy one drawback of this method is that it would always consider Saturday and Sunday as the weekend days.
If you want more control on the days that you want to fill in a column in Excel, you can use the WEEKDAY formula method that I also cover in the video
