Insert a header or footer
To create a header or footer in MS Word, go to the /”Insert/” tab, then click either /”Header/” or /”Footer/” depending on where you want to place the information; you can choose from pre-designed options or create your own by selecting /”Edit Header/” or /”Edit Footer/” and typing the desired text; when finished, click /”Close Header and Footer/” to exit the editing mode.

1-Go to Insert – Header or Footer.
2-Choose the header style you want to use.
Tip: Some built-in header and footer designs include page numbers.
You can add or change the text in the header or footer. To edit an existing header or footer, double-click it. For more information on things you can do with headers, go to Edit your existing headers and footers.
3-To eliminate a header, for example, deleting the header on a title page, select it and then check the Different First Page box.
4-Select Close Header and Footer or press Esc to exit.
