Most of us spend our working days in Outlook. At least when we’re not in Teams But do you really know how to use Outlook effectively? In this video, you’ll learn how to become an Outlook ninja with my top 6 calendar tips and tricks.
In the first tip, I’ll show you how to work with multiple calendars, including how to view all your open calendars in a single view. The second tip is about using the date selector. You can use it to display date ranges, individual days, or even any out-of-sequence random days that you choose!
The natural language feature in Outlook calendar helps take away some of the guess work when planning meetings. You can just tell Outlook when you’d like to schedule a meeting and it will work out the date for you. And if an email thread would be better served by having a meeting, you can reply to an email directly with a meeting request.
The scheduling assistant helps you to find a time slot where everyone has some free time. And finally, you can configure your calendar view to show multiple time zones simultaneously, helping you to get an idea of when might be good to schedule calls and meetings.
