Does your file get stuck while uploading to Google Drive on your PC?
If so, here are some ways to fix it. Try the fixes one by one in the order listed here. Hopefully, one of them works for you.
Before we proceed make sure you have enough Google Drive storage space to upload your file.
If you don’t have enough space, try clearing your trash or deleting some files to clear up some space.
Make sure the storage space is bigger than your file size.
Then try uploading your file.
If it doesn’t work, check whether your Google Drive is active.
To do this, Go to the GSuite Dashboard. Make Sure Google Drive has a green tick.

If you see a service disruption or service outage sign, wait for it to be available again.
Then try uploading your file.
If Google Drive is available, try the next fix.
Check your network connection to see if it’s stable.
Type Settings in the Windows search bar. Next, choose Network and Internet.
Make sure the message shows you’re connected to the Internet.
Scroll down and click on Network troubleshooter.
Follow the steps to identify and fix any network problems.
If your Network has no issues, try opening Chrome in
private or incognito mode.
On your Chrome browser click on the 3 dots on the top right.
Then select New Incognito Window.
When Chrome opens in incognito mode, go to Google Drive.
Then try uploading your file again.
If it doesn’t work, try clearing your browser cache and cookies.
Click on the 3 dots on the top right of your Chrome browser.
Select Clear browsing data.
Make sure cookies and other site data and cached images and files are selected.
Next, selected All time under time range.
Then hit clear data.
Next, close your Chrome browser and try uploading your file.
If you don’t succeed, try a different browser. If you’re using Chrome, try Edge or Opera.
Hopefully you successfully upload your file to Google Drive.
