Unfortunately, I couldn’t start painting today because I had to strip the primer off one of the parts. I used Super Clean to remove Mr. Surfacer 1000 primer, letting it soak for about 24 hours. It works fast, but I left it longer just to be sure. Why did I need to strip it? When I tried to re-prime the part, the layers didn’t match up properly, creating visible imperfections. So, back to square one—clean it up and do it right!
Even with this little setback, progress is happening! I’ve already cleaned and primed most of the other pieces, so the next step is getting back to painting. Hopefully, tomorrow will be all about bringing this 3D print to life with some paint and detail work.
