this is very easy fix anyone can do and fix their Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 machine.

The cmd command for stopping the Windows update service is:
net stop wuauserv

Hi everybody.
So today I wont to show you a nice fix for your Windows update service in the case it go stuck and it continue to search for updates forever without finding anything.
This is my machine
Let us see the update application
Lets try check for new updates.
This will continue the search for ever .
So what can we do?
Well the easy fix, all you need to do is go to your internet browser.
And search for /”Windows Update Client for Windows 7/”
Click the first result from Microsoft.

If we will scroll down we will see the downloadable patch
We have a couple of options
Depending on your machine system
if it a 64 or 32 bit architecture.
you can check this be clicking on start menu and right click on My Computer and then on properties.
you can see the system type
64-bit OS ot 32.
So in my case I need the 64 bit version.
We will click here
Select the OS language in my case it is English
And download it.
Close the browser
Copy it to my desktop
The next thing we need to do
is to close the Windows update service
Go to start menu
type CMD
Command prompt to windows
Noe right click it and select to run as administrator
now we will give ower cmd instance administrator rights
to do whatever we need.
inside we are going to enter the code
/”net stop wuauserv/”
now hit enter
Now we successfully stopped the Windows update service.
Now double click on the downloaded file.
Do we wont to install this update?
Hit Yes.
The installation process begins
Now we are asked to restart the computer.
Windows started the update of the Update client.
We will wait until the computer will load the Windows OS.
Windows is configuring the Windows update client.
Now lets see our Windows update.
Lets see and search for updates.
OK
I pause the screen recording
It passed something like seven minutes
And you can see it found a lot of updates.
And we are ready to install them.
Its depending on what system you have.
And the internet connection speed.
