DON’T BUY A STANDING DESK!

Piece one together instead! I have spent months looking for a good standing desk, but most fall short in quality.

Thing is, 99% of what you find online will have a cheap tabletop & will be over $500.

I wanted something a bit better, but I didn’t have a ton of money to spend.

This is what I did:

Go on Amazon and buy the motorized legs without a tabletop. I chose the brand Topsky because they had great reviews, were affordable, and dual motor (smoother/faster lift).

Look locally for someone selling a butcher block countertop or get one from Lowe’s as I did. Mine is 72” long and 1.5” thick so it’s super heavy duty. The butcher block cost me $220 but is worth every penny.

For my office chair, I have been using the Herman Miller Aeron for years and LOVE IT. The retail price is really crazy, but you can find them used for $3-450.

️ I want you to care about your workspace and body. STOP using desks that don’t adapt to you and sitting on garbage chairs. Your body will pay for it eventually!
